Synopsis
In this holiday story set in New York City, a young boy named Miguel gets a package from his father, a truck driver who is on the road. When Miguel opens the package he is shocked to find a live turkey and a note from his dad which reads "Fatten this turkey for Thanksgiving. I'll be home to share it with you." However, as Miguel spends time with the turkey he comes to think of him more as a friend than as a potential meal. Will Miguel be able to persuade his father to spare his feathered friend's life?, Trouble ensues when Papa gets Miguel a turkey to fatten up for Thanksgiving and Miguel develops an attachment to it.
