Recorded live before an enthusiastic audience, GOSPEL GOES CLASSICAL pairs gospel singer Juanita Bynum with South African crossover contemporary jazz guitarist and vocalist Jonathan Butler. Bynum's penchant for passionate testifying is an excellent complement to Butler's smooth playing and laid-back crooning, but it is the added support of the Gospel Goes Classical Symphony Orchestra and Choir that gives the event its distinctive, majestic sound. All these elements come together for a stirring evening of faith, spirituality, and music.
