Movie Description
Spurred on both by the popularity of EASY RIDER and the notoriety of the Hell's Angels, a number of movie studios began regularly producing biker films to capitalize on public interest. In GIRLS ON THE ROAD, two attractive teenage girls pick up a young man (Ontkean) guessing that he can show them a good time, but when he turns out to be a serial killer the fun's over.
WEREWOLVES ON WHEELS attempts to fuse a B-horror film with a B-biker film and the result is a decidedly unique film. The plot, of course, follows a pack of demonic werewolves who terrorize the populace on their souped-up bikes. Vastly entertaining period B-films,GIRLS ON THE ROAD and WEREWOLVES ON WHEELS also provide a fascinating look at the biker culture of that time and how the public perceived them.
