Movie Description A country girl and a newly transplanted city girl form an unlikely friendship, fix up an old river boat and strike out on their own to find a buried treasure, fabled to lie buried somewhere in the heart of "Bear Mountain."
Synopsis Pre-teen Beth Easton and her mom move from L.A. to the Pacific Northwest. There, Beth meets troubled, tomboy-ish Jody Salerno, an outcast with an alcoholic mother. The two form a bond, and soon Jody tells Beth about the legend of Molly Morgan, who, many years ago, supposedly found gold inside nearby Bear Mountain. Filled with dreams of finding the lost treasure, the buddies set out on a peril-filled adventure into the caves and catacombs of Bear Mountain. Will they find the gold? Is there even any gold at all?
