Movie Description The zany stars of a San Francisco vaudeville show, The Frisco Follies, head out in search of gold. While panning for gold, they re-stage their show in the little town of Red Creek, despite the efforts to foil their show by a wicked gambler.
Synopsis Two comics working at a San Francisco music hall are out of a job when the gold rush of 1849 hits and their patrons leave town to cash in. They decide to look for gold themselves, but hit upon another scheme instead: in exchange for gold dust, they promise the men who work in the women-less mining town of Red Creek that they will bring back the girls in their troupe as entertainment and possible brides.
Film Notes The Turner videocassette is part of the "RKO Collection."
