Movie Description A pair of sisters--one a strung-out, would-be rock star with more drive than talent and the other a wildly successful folk rock singer--struggle with their differences in this well-textured drama. Seattle's music scene provides the setting for the musical performances, all of which were recorded live.
Synopsis A tale of intense sibling rivalry between two sisters who are also both singers. Georgia is a happy, popular and successful folk singer, who's self-assured enough to place her husband and kids before her career. In stark contrast, her younger sibling Sadie is an angry, untalented, childish, substance-abusing punk rocker. Sadie is obsessively jealous of her sister's fame and home life, so Georgia wants as little to do with her as humanly possible.
After a particularly horrific falling-out between the sisters, Georgia finally reaches the end of her rope. Now Sadie must find a way to make peace with both herself and her family -- before she completely self-destructs.
