Movie Description
After working together on REGULAR LOVERS, French filmmaker Philippe Garrel again directs his actor son, Louis, in this black-and-white drama. Laura Smet (THE BRIDESMAID) stars as a celebrity who is unhappy with her marriage and falls into infidelity with handsome photographer François (Louis Garrel). When her husband returns, the affair ends, and Carole’s unhappiness causes her to commit suicide. Later, when François is about to be married, he begins to see the ghost of his former love. FRONTIER OF DAWN also stars the elder Garrel’s student Clémentine Poidatz, as well as Emmanuel Broche and Olivier Massart.
