Movie Description
1938. A pretty governess agrees to bear the child of an English landowner who will in turn pay off her father's debt. Seven years later, she accepts a job as a governess to a landowner on a Sussex estate. When she arrives, she discovers that the child for whom she has been hired as a governess is her daughter. She must keep the secret to herself, even as it begins to tear her apart.
