Movie Description A homesick woman remembers why she left while visiting her oddball family.
Synopsis After her father is seriously injured by the family horse, Kate leaves New York and returns to her country home. There, the prodigal daughter must contend with her cantankerous dad (who wants Kate to kill the animal), and a very eccentric, old-fashioned family. Furthermore, Kate is pregnant and unmarried, a condition that upsets numerous family members. But the sparks really fly after she grants her dad's wish -- and slays the horse...
