Movie Description After capturing and prosecuting a brutal serial killer, detective John Hobbes is puzzled by a string of bizarre murders that seem to suggest that the killer is alive--or at least somehow present on Earth. With the help of a beautiful theosophist and his stalwart partner, Hobbes realizes that the killer's spirit is being transferred between the bodies it possesses--and that it may be impossible to stop him now.

Industry Reviews "...A stylish and expertly paced blend of autumnal atmosphere and compelling characterisation..." Sight and Sound - p.46 - Andrew O'Hehir
"...With the warmly engaging presence of Mr. Washington...and with a brooding and literate noir screenplay by Nicholas Kazan, FALLEN was directed by Gregory Hoblit with the same dark intensity of his earlier feature PRIMAL FEAR..." New York Times - p.E10 - Janet Maslin
"...The payoff at the end of the road is a gem....It's a crafty piece of work..." Los Angeles Times - Jack Mathews (01/16/1998)
"...It never slips down into easy shock tactics. Kazan writes plausible, literate dialogue and Hoblit creates a realistic world..." Chicago Sun-Times - Roger Ebert (01/16/1998)
