Movie Description
A recently divorced journalist, a young couple in love, a lecherous crane driver, an estranged father and daughter, the prodigal son of a fisherman, and a lonely farmer are the principle characters of Daniel Bergman's (son of Ingmar) EXPECTATIONS. Taking a cue from Robert Altman's SHORT CUTS, Bergman and novelist/screenwriter Reidar Jonsson (MY LIFE AS A DOG) deftly interweave six separate plots into a captivating film that offers some unique views of Swedish culture as well as some fresh insights on universal themes.
