ESCAPE, the follow-up to Jim Brickman's well-received DISNEY SONGBOOK, finds the renowned pianist easing into a serene set of New Age/light-pop tunes. While most of the album is instrumental, country singer Sara Evans appears on the gentle, reassuring "Never Alone" and R&B vocalists Geoff Byrd and Gerald Levert contribute to "When It Snows" and "My Angel," respectively. (Sadly, Levert died shortly after the album's 2006 release, making this one of his last recorded performances.)
