Movie Description
Lupe (Aurora Segura) is a beautiful young woman who lives next door to an amoral hustler named Roberto (Victor Parra). Roberto has just returned from Acapulco, where he lived by taking advantage of rich women and cheating at pool halls; he manages to make life difficult for Lupe, harassing her in every way he can. When Lupe gains a new suitor, an honest taxi driver with the best of intentions towards her, Roberto steps up his efforts even more, aggravating the young couple mercilessly. The cabbie helps Lupe see Roberto's true colors, and Roberto strikes back by putting a hit on him, framing him for a car theft. When the driver is put away, however, Roberto experiences a change of heart. Unfortunately, it just might prove too late for redemption.
