Movie Description Elizabeth who just split from her husband, ends up going back home to mom. She comes across one of her childhood toys, a Jack-in-the-box, which was the very same one her frustrated mother imprisoned her childhood "imaginary" friend Fred, many years ago. Low and behold Elizabeth now opens the box, and out springs Fred with 21 years of pranks stored up!
Synopsis A comic fantasy about an ineffectual young woman who leaves her unfaithful husband and returns home only to be oppressed by her overbearing mother. Everything changes when Elizabeth is revisted by her imaginary childhood friend, "Drop Dead Fred." The mischievous Fred enters Elizabeth's life like a whirlwind of unbridled id, shaking her out of her passivity with his outrageous antics. Egged on by Fred, Elizabeth embarks on a campaign to win back her errant husband.
Film Notes Filmed in CFI Color.
Additional credits: Young Elizabeth was played by Ashley Peldon; suggested by a story by Elizabeth Livingston; special makeup effects by Christopher Johnson; special effects by Bob Cooper.
