Movie Description
DR. HACKENSTEIN was among the first films to blend pure gore with slapstick comedy, a trend followed by productions such as BRIDE OF REANIMATOR and SCARY MOVIE. In this reimagining of the Mary Shelly classic, a doctor (David Muir) who wants to bring his dead wife back to life needs only a few spare parts to complete the task. When some unexpected house guests show up, they, if a bit unwillingly, give him a hand, a leg, an eye, and anything else needed to resurrect his beloved (and in an even better body!).
