Synopsis Sleuth/caterer Goldy Bear Schulz's own goose might be cooked if she can't clear her name in the 12th entry of a tasty mystery series. Goldy's despicable ex-husband, Dr. John Richard Korman, is let out of prison early when the governor commutes his sentence for assault. Not long afterward, Goldy is knocked unconscious and her new kitchen trashed by a masked assailant. Her ex seems a likely culprit, but then someone shoots him and frames Goldy for his murder. The back of the book contains several of Goldy's recipes.
