Movie Description
Love, in various tragic and magical incarnations, is the main theme of this trilogy of short films, based on stories by Nobel Prize-winning novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez. A young woman discovers her bedroom mirror offers a portal to another time--and into a timeless love--in THE TWO WAY MIRROR. Then, in SATURDAY NIGHT THIEF, a woman left alone at home finds herself oddly smitten with a burglar during a break-in. Finally, prominent Cuban filmmaker Tomas Gutierrez Alea (STRAWBERRY AND CHOCOLATE) helms FAR APART, a tale of a woman who receives an unexpected letter, drawing her back into a tragic night, 35 years in the past.
