Movie Description
A tale of romance and intrigue set in 16th century France.
Synopsis
A star-studded costume drama that pairs Lana Turner and Roger Moore.
Among the French royals in the 1500s, one woman stands out for her role in influencing aristocratic society: the Countess Diane de Breze. Diane is surrounded by an array of colorful types, including her lover, the brash Prince Henri; the majestic King Francis I; the despondent Catherine de Medici; and an astrologer who predicts that Henri will soon be killed.
All are poised for the upcoming tournament that will challenge the men to joust -- possibly to the death!
