Spanish sexploitation maestro Jess Franco (THE WICKED WARDEN, BARBED WIRE DOLLS) practically cornered the market on "women in prison" films, and this is a follow-up to his classic 99 WOMEN, a definitive entry in the genre canon. A beautiful young couple is framed for murder and shipped off to a prison camp in South America. There, they are subjected to unspeakable torture and abuse at the hands of the sadistic warden (Rosa Palomar), and are forced to adapt to the depravity they are surrounded by in order to attempt escape. The cast features a bevy of Franco regulars, including British character actor Dennis Price (VENUS IN FURS), Brit Nichols (THE DEMONS), Howard Vernon (THE AWFUL DR.
