Movie Description Emperor Caligula has two things on his mind: gladiatorial displays and gaining possession of the robe which fell from Jesus on the cross and is now in the hands of Demetrius (Victor Mature). Caligula and Messalina, young wife of the Emperor's uncle Claudius, work together to get the robe away from Demetrius, who ends up fighting as a gladiator. The epic sequel to the smash hit THE ROBE.
Synopsis A Greek slave's faith is tested by the seductive wife of a feeble Roman senator. Demetrius battles gladiators and savage beasts yet he is captured by wicked Messalina. Against the vicious, brilliant pageantry of the Roman arena, Demetrius loses and regains his soul.
