One of the founding acts of goth rock, Christian Death emerged from sunny California in the 1980s as pale-faced, black-clad wraiths intent on rebuking religion and reveling in decadence. The audio portion of this CD/DVD set presents the band's finest moments under the leadership of brooding mastermind Roz Williams (who committed suicide in '98), including the crushing "Deathwish" and the blistering, yet oddly catchy "Romeo's Distress." The DVD features a Christian Death concert from 1990, along with additional video footage, interviews, and more.
