After "She Got It" hit #1 on the rap charts, the stage was set for Florida native 2 Pistols to ascend the hip-hop ranks with the 2008 release of his debut, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR. With tracks helmed by the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League (the sound team behind hits by Mary J. Blige and Young Jeezy), and guest spots by Ray-J, Trey Songs, and T-Pain, DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR stomps with authority and surges with attitude. 2 Pistols' rhymes and sonic vibe are straight Dirty South style, but the hooks and singalong choruses are enough to give this strong debut an appeal well beyond the standard hardcore audience.
