Synopsis This supernatural romantic mystery is the fifth concerning Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic cocktail waitress who lives in an alternate Louisiana where vampires and shapeshifters exist. A sniper has begun preying on local shapeshifters, and many believe that the culprit is Sookie's brother Jason, who recently became a were-panther. Sookie, who's already considerably occupied with juggling the romantic attentions of various potential boyfriends, must prove her brother's innocence while avoiding becoming a target herself.
