Synopsis
In Branscombe, N.H., novelist Nora Regan Reilly and her PI daughter, Regan Reilly, and their close friends Alvirah and Will Meehan, track down a missing employee of Conklin's Market who is connected with a $160 million lottery and the winnings., Mary Higgins Clark teams up with her daughter Carol Higgins Clark for this engrossing mystery romance. Sleuth Alvirah Meehan and P.I. Regan Reilly travel to small town New Hampshire for to join the town's Festival of Joy. Once they arrive, they become embroiled in a mystery surrounding a huge lottery jackpot. The man who conjured the winning numbers appears to be missing, and the town is desperate to find him. The Clark women have previously teamed up for HE SEES YOU WHEN YOU'RE SLEEPING and THE CHRISTMAS THIEF.
