...show fools exactly how the Left Coast rocks. Even though we've heard it all before...WC...manages to incorporate some originality into his lyrics....there are the typical boastful, gangbanging cuts, but appearances from Ice Cube...and Coolio...make them some what bearable...
...absolutely stunning. Where most G-funk is getting samey because of its leanings towards the cleaner R&B-fied side of Parliament, WC have unlocked something closer to Funkadelic's warped funkavity....more lusciously...delicious than anything you'll hear this year... Melody Maker (11/25/1995)
