Industry Reviews "It's a relatively subtle but effective use of magic that adds piquant flavor to action both entertaining and intriguing, in that nothing goes as easily as it usually does in such tales--leaving me curious to know what will happen in the second part." Locus - Carolyn Cushman (06/19/1997)
"Smith's lush descriptions evoke a fantastic yet credible world, were magic spells and enchanted stones are everyday facts of life." Adams
