Synopsis
In 1932, the kidnapping and murder of pilot Charles Lindbergh's infant sun captivated the country. Bruno Richard Hauptmann, a carpenter who once worked at the Lindbergh home, was convicted and executed for the crime. But many people believed that Hauptmann, an illegal immigrant from Germany, was the victim of anti-German sentiment and that the real killer remained at large. Kennedy reveals startling improprieties in the prosecution's case--from perjury to manufactured evidence--that expose the inequitable nature of justice in America.
