About this Movie
Movie Description
Legendary actor Alain Delon (PURPLE NOON, LE SAMOURAI), arguably France's most handsome and glamorous leading man, stars in this classic tale of love, French style. Delon plays a young politician on the fast track to becoming his government's new Prime Minister. His ambition blinds him to everything and everyone until he falls for a beautiful young fashion model. The politician's conflict between this new passion and his ladder-climbing career ambitions allows director Pierre Granier-Deferre to explore issues of personal happiness versus public good.
