Richard McMurray (Campbell Scott) has it all: a debut novel on the best-seller list, a gorgeous spread in Malibu, and a sexy wife. Unfortunately, one bout of writer's block causes a downward spiral that lands him on the street, searching for a new beginning. His first steps back up the ladder come from a duo of sexy students who open their door (and their bed) to the flailing scribe, though they may soon prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.
