Movie Description
The downfall of a stand-up comedian forms the backbone of the plot in Matt Mitler's CRACKING UP. Mitler takes the lead role in the film, playing Danny Gold, a Manhattan resident whose undeniable talent shines through as he walks the creaky stages of various Lower East Side clubs. But Gold's success in the comedy world is not mirrored in his private life, which is marred by tattered relationships and cocaine binges.
