Movie Description
The trenches of World War II form the basis for this action packed drama which debuted on American television in the early 1960s. Vic Morrow (as Sgt. Chip Saunders) and Rick Jason (as Lt. Gil Hanley) starred throughout the show, alongside a variety of guest stars (Robert Culp, Dean Stockwell, and Joan Hackett among many others in Season 1), and revered directors (Richard Donner, Ted Post). The theme behind the show was one of companionship against seemingly insurmountable odds, with weekly episodes confronting the brutality of war, and the coping strategies needed to get through it. This release features 16 episodes, including "I Swear By Apollo," "The Walking Wounded," "The Medal," "The Volunteer," "Survival," "No Time For Pity," "Next In Command," "Night Patrol," "Off Limits," "No Hallelujahs For Glory," "The Battle Of The Roses," "Hill 256," "The Sniper," "One More For The Road," "High Named Today," and "No Trumpets, No Drums."
