Movie Description
Nobel recipient Henryk Sienkiewicz wrote the trilogy on which this film was based. Set in 1668 Poland during the Turkish invasion, the film pays tribute to the noble efforts of Colonel Michal Wolodyjowski (Tadeusz Lomnicki), who organized a brave last defense against the charging Turkish army. Directed by Jerzy Hoffman (WITH FIRE AND SWORD), COLONEL WOLODYJOWSKI is a romantic, epic, action-packed historical drama.
