Movie Description
Miss Simpson, a savvy yankee milliner who yearns for a place to belong, finds it with Grandpa Rucker Blakeslee, a much older, recently widowed man. Together they turn the small town of Cold Sassy upside down, setting the local gossips' tongues wagging.
Synopsis
A small town is outraged by a brazen young woman from the North who marries an older shopkeeper three weeks after the death of his wife. The new wife is shunned by the community in this tale of scandalous romance in the South circa 1900.
