Synopsis
Witty situation comedy which premiered in September 1982, about the diverse and strange crowd who frequent a popular Beantown pub. The establishment belongs to ex-Boston Red Sox pitcher and renowned ladies man, Sam Malone, who also tends bar -- while still finding time to flirt and fight with the intellectually pretentious (but adorable) waitress Diane Chambers.

"Cheers," was first telecast September 30, 1982 on the NBC Television Network.
Nicholas Colasanto ("Coach") was on the show (between 1982 and 1985) until his death.
