After killing a man in self-defense, Chato (Charles Bronson), a half-breed Apache, is on the run from a 13-man posse, because that man was the town Sheriff. Vowing to avenge the death of their fallen constable, they follow Chato into the wilderness. Living off the land, he outwits the riders tracking him, picking them off one by one.
Synopsis
A sheriff has just been murdered, and Chato, a half-breed Indian, has been fingered as the killer. Chato must now run for his life -- because a deadly posse is hellbent on avenging the marshall's death...
