Movie Description CHANCE OF SNOW: In 1998's A CHANCE OF SNOW, two children harbor a fervent Christmas wish that their parents will get back together. The mother and children run into the husband/father at the airport, where they are all stranded due to snow. As time passes, the emotional wheels begin to turn, and it seems the children might get their wish after all.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF CHRISTMAS: When Santa decides to stay put and open a store in a California suburb, it seemed like a good idea. Children could experience the magic of Christmas year 'round, and Santa wouldn't have to travel. Unfortunately, Santa's store becomes a tourist-crazy nuisance, and the issue turns political with the upcoming mayoral races. Candidate Elizabeth Gates (CHEERS' Shelley Long) wants to shut down Santa's store, but her 10-year old son is practically living there. Everyone learns a valuable lesson about Christmas by the time the whole thing is sorted out.
