Movie Description Denzel Washington makes his big screen acting debut in this biting social satire from Michael Schultz (CAR WASH, KRUSH GROOVE). Washington plays Roger Porter, the long-lost black son of "respectable" white businessman Walter Whitney. At first reluctant to accept Roger as his kin, Walter finally breaks down and admits to his snobbish and proper wife that he has a black child. As a result of his confession, he loses his place in society, his high-paying job and his Rolls Royce. Soon he is forced to find a new home and work as a manual laborer.
