Movie Description
Ace reporter Brenda starr must find the missing scientist and his missing formula so she can get the scoop of the century for her financially-strapped newspaper. But she's not the only one searching. She risks her life and goes to the treacherous jungles of South America with the help of her handsome, dashing mystery man to find the story.

Estimated budget $15,000,000.
Shot in 1986, the film wasn't released until the spring of 1992, and even then it was only shown in a few cities (five markets) for a very limited time. It was released on video in the fall of that same year.
Brooke Shield's mother, Teri Shields, said that she "got so mad [about all the delays and problems] a year ago, I stopped reading the comic strip."
