Synopsis In this memoir, Kimberly Dozier recounts her experience as a correspondent for CBS News in Iraq. In 2006, while in Baghdad, Dozier was wounded in a car bomb explosion that killed her camera crew; an American soldier was also killed, as was a translator, and several others were injured in the attack. She tells of her difficult road to recovery, her efforts to continue in her chosen profession, and the complex emotions about her own injuries and those of the soldiers, as well as the suffering of their families.
