Movie Description
Brother of trumpeter Wynton, saxophonist Branford Marsalis proves his jazz chops with this run through of John Coltrane's A LOVE SUPREME. Joined by pianist Joey Calderazzo, Jeff "Tain" watts on drums, and Eric Revis on bass, Amsterdam's Bimhuis Jazz Club is lit up by the sounds emitting from the performers on stage. Also included are interviews with Marsalis and his band, as well as a fascinating filmed conversation between the talented saxophonist and Alice Coltrane.
