Synopsis Dennis Loony cannot believe it--after 40 years of marriage his parents tell him that they're getting divorced! Dennis's sister, Claire, who's divorced herself, seems too preoccupied her own parenting and self-image problems to care, while their younger brother, Peter, deals with his pain by striking up a romance. They've all been gathered by their parents at a decidedly spooky beach house and are stuck together for six days while they all cope in their own ways. Dash Shaw exploits the graphic novel's potential to poignantly and subtly express the complexity and insanity of family relationships.
