Movie Description Prior to his global infamy as organizer of both Band Aid and Live Aid, Bob Geldof enjoyed a successful time with his punk-era band, The Boomtown Rats. This show is culled from a 1978 performance at London's Hammersmith Odeon, with the Rats popularity peeking--both "Rat Trap" and "I Don't Like Mondays were subsequent number 1 singles--and an expectant crowd urging the group to deliver the goods. They do so in style, delivering incendiary interpretations of "Like Clockwork," "Looking After No. 1," "She's So Modern," "Rat Trap," and many others.

Industry Reviews "It was their most persuasive musical period, one where they hitched the bold excitement they'd inherited from R&B and punk to a widely melodic and mischievous ingenuity, and it's all fully captured here." Uncut - Carol Clerk (03/01/2005)
