Industry Reviews "Preminger, as always, treats his characters objectively, which is one reason his best films seem so grown-up for their time." USA Today - Mike Clark (12/19/2003)
"Preminger fractures the story into a star black-and-white present and nostalgic Technicolor past -- a dramatically effective device that's bolstered by gorgeous tracking shots and splendid acting." Entertainment Weekly - Tim Purtell (01/09/2004)
