Movie Description One of television's longest running Western shows, BONANZA was a staple on the small screen throughout the 1960s. The program focused on the Ponderosa ranch, owned by Ben Cartwright (Lorne Greene) and run by Cartwright's three sons: Adam, Hoss, and Little Joe. Instilled with a sense of justice and righteousness, the Cartwrights not only ensure that the ranch is running smoothly, but also try to help out the people of the local town with their problems. Even while battling outlaws, protecting prospectors, and helping to defend fellow farmers from greedy landlords, the family members develop personal relationships with the townspeople and strengthen the friendships with each other. This collection features four episodes: "The Courtship," "The Savage," "Breed of Violence," and "The Last Viking."
