Movie Description Blondie was the most successful New Wave band of the late 1970s and early 1980s, and their videos were played frequently in the earliest days of MTV. A selection of those videos, all spotlighting the band's famous frontwoman Deborah Harry, are collected on BLONDIE: VIDEO HITS. The collection features three videos directed by prolific 1980s director David Mallet: "Hanging On the Telephone," "Dreaming," and "Atomic." The other videos are "Heart of Glass," perhaps the band's best-known song, "The Tide is High," and "Rapture," often identified as the first rap video played on MTV.
