A potboiler that spoofs the trappings of Greek tragedy even as it aspires to such heights, the elaborate plot of BLACKMAIL BOY is filled with a heady mixture of lust, hedonism, double-crosses, and greed. Chistos (Yannis Tsimitselis) is a young bisexual playboy in a small Greek town. His family owns a much-disputed plot of land, the sale of which becomes the catalyst for a mass foregoing of scruples. Christos's brother-in-law (Alexis Georgoulis) uses his relationship with a powerful older man (Akilas Karazisis) to blackmail his way into a payoff--but things, of course, don't go exactly as planned.
