Synopsis Biography of Edmund Plantagenet, the Black Adder, Duke of Edinburgh, third in line to the throne of England. This illustrious son of King Richard IV, ruler of England in the year 1485... King Richard the what? It seems that Richard III was a good, yet misunderstood king. After his untimely demise, Richard's younger brother, also named Richard, becomes the undocumented King of England. The royal authority is thrust upon him and his two sons: the handsome and noble Henry, Prince of Wales, and the pathetic, conniving, slimy Prince Edmund the Black Adder, who at every turn tries to grasp the elusive power of the realm.
