Movie Description
An FBI agent goes undercover to investigate a suspected murderer. As the agent becomes romantically involved with the man under suspicion, she uncovers a white supremacist network that includes government officials.
Synopsis
When an abrasive radio talk-show host is brutally murdered in Chicago, the FBI steps in to investigate. The leading suspects are a group of white supremacists headquartered in the rural Midwest, so the Bureau sends a female agent to infiltrate the community and uncover the truth about their involvement. But the agent compromises her objectivity when she falls in love with one of the prime suspects and refuses to believe he could be guilty of such a heinous crime. Before long, however, the man reveals his darker side, with its horrific displays of blind hatred and violence.

The film's opening sequence was apparently inspired by the murder of Denver radio talk-show host Alan Berg, who was gunned down in his driveway by a group of white supremacists in the summer of 1984. See also "Talk Radio," directed by Oliver Stone (USA/1988).
