I just bought this book in September, and used it very carefully. It's clean--the covers are completely intact and has no dog-ears. You can just tell it's been used from the little wrinkles books get when you've flipped through them a lot. I recommend this book for your embryo course because it has tons of good pictures and clinical correlates. I highlighted quite a bit and wrote on the margins, but they'll probably help you more than hinder you. I mail things off right away because I know what a drudge it is to wait for books.
