Synopsis "The day before Christmas,/ snuggled on his floor,/ Bear sleeps soundly/ with a great big snore..." Not for long, though: Bear's various animal friends considerately awaken him from his hibernation so that they can celebrate Christmas together. They find a Christmas tree, bake a fruitcake, make popcorn, and sing songs until the other animals fall asleep, leaving Bear to continue baking cookies, wrapping gifts, and decorating the cave.
